Born and raised in Tokyo, Hiroshi graduated from MESAR HOUSE Music School. While working in the music industry, he developed focal dystonia and retired from performing. He became a freelance artist in 2021. Since 2010, he has been using rockbalancing as a technique to create stone and water sculptures with the theme of ‘harmony with nature’, which he captures in photographs and videos. As one of the longest-serving rock balancers in Japan Hiroshi has participated in rockbalancing world competitions all over the world. In addition to stone sculptures, he also visualizes and creates water sculptures that utilise the flow of rivers. He is involved in a wide range of creations, such as music videos and corporate videos, photographing architecture and portraits, designing advertising posters and CD albums, and branding design.
