Tomoko Ichinokawa

Ichinokawa began taking photographs in 2013. Her work explores the inner world through photography, drawing on distant memories of places and scenes that feel somehow familiar, childhood imagination, and the dreamlike worlds found in picture books. Her major solo exhibitions include “Even if the sky cracks and lies drop” (2024, Sony Imaging Gallery), “Distant Voice”(2024, Kinkan Gallery), “blurs.” (2022, Kinkan Gallery, Meguro), “JARDIN” (2021, Nine Gallery, Gaienmae) and “PRESAGE” (2020, Gallery Ne no Hoshi, Daikanyama) among others.
